Mars went to Japan for racing scenes
Mars went to Japan for racing scenes Zaizai's stand-in was unconscious after his motorcycle overturned 2004/03/24 ETtoday of Taiwan
Mars starring Yumin Zhou and XiYuan Xu went to Sendai Japan to shoot racing scenes. To make Zaizai¡¯ character, Ling, looks more like the professional racer depicted in the Comic, Mars crew spent a fortune of 500 thousand NT dollars hiring a Japanese designer to design Zaizai¡¯s two racing suits and two helmets. While at work in Japan, what impressed Yumin Zhou most was the warm-up exercise of shoveling snow every morning before work. Whether it was an actor, an actress or a staff member, everyone had to shovel the snow on the racetrack before filming could be started. To ensure actors¡¯ highest safety, sometimes they even had to use heaters to melt and dry the leftover snow. The Japanese production crew specifically hired many racers who have ranked top three in Japan many Grand Prix as Zaizai¡¯s stand-ins. Members of Mars crew were all very appreciated of it. Producer ZhiPing Chai kept on saying:¡± We all have to be very careful in safety measure. Should any accident happen, we won¡¯t be able to afford the damage.¡± One very scared thing happened when they were shooting racing scenes. The director asked a professional racer to do a demo in one of Zaizai¡¯s racing scenes. It was a scene where groups of motorcycles sped forward simultaneously at the start line. Zaizai¡¯s stand-in started the motorcycle and jumped off his motorcycle when he saw the one in front of him collapsed because its engine died. The stand-in¡¯s motorcycle slid and hit the one in front of it. Everyone was in shock by the series of crashes. Meanwhile, before he could get up, Zaizai¡¯s stand-in was hit by the motorcycle rushing from behind at him. He suffered from shock and was unconscious for a while. After the ambulance arrived, when the paramedical personnel was just about to lift the stand-in racer to a stretcher to take him to a hospital, miraculously he suddenly woke up. Everybody was relieved. Zaizai watching the whole thing kept on saying that it was so dangerous. If he had been the one on the motorcycle, he couldn¡¯t image what could have happened.

Machi's Steven is the cousin of the former L.A. Boyz member, Lin Zhi Wen. He will be officially be advancing towards idol dramas. He'll be acting with ZZ in "Mars." In the drama, from an exchange of blows a friendship grows between the two, the more they fight the stronger they get.
Steven and ZZ have a fighting segment in the drama. When seeing his opponent, his chest muscles will strengthen. The thin and weak ZZ hasn't even gotten in place and he's already shivering. The director especially invited a martial arts for guidance and protect ZZ's safety.

ZZ, Voted by Hongkong's RICH WOMEN
24/3 - HK's most lovable purity male celebrity: ZZ, Voted by Hongkong's RICH WOMEN
When talking about how much does a male celeb 'cost', not only we talk about his salary, there's one more new perspect we look for -- how much is needed to 'buy' a male celeb. From China's news report, they made a special survey and research to find out what type of male celeb Hongkong rich women wants and how much they are willing to pay for a male celeb.
The results were surprising and it came out to be Taiwanese Boyband F4's youngest hot baby ZaiZai Zhou Yu Min who topped amongst so many male celebs. These rich women are very generous and are willing to pay 6 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 HKD to 'buy' and feed Zaizai for 1 year.
It has been very common when businessmen booked hot female celeb. It wasnt rare anymore. However, rich businesswomen nowadays turned the world around!! They used money to buy relationship and love!!! Their survey results stated that during 1980s, these women love to see Leslie Cheung as he looks pretty good. During those days, some women were willing to pay Leslie 1 Million HKD to 'own' him for 1 year. These figures overwhelmed many other male celeb's wages. And now to 1990s, Butter-faced Leon Lai was the hot pick. Some of these women offered 1.6million to 'own' him for 1 year. Then, Tony Leung and Aaron Kwok were placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Now the successor of the 1990 hot pick of the ladies was ZZ ZHOU YU MIN!!!! Just because of Meteor Garden, it rocketted him in all countries especially in HK too. Out of so many hot picks, ZZ was offered the most in the century! ZZ gives a very shy but gentle appearance, and a mind of purity boy. This then proven that there is no need to be muscular in order to achieve a place in women's heart.
Jerry Yan and Jay Chou were then placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. However whenever male celebs hear these news, they always turned away from that conversation. They rather film more movies and release more album than being called a "Xiao Bai Lian"(takes money from women only; useless).

F4 MAY Be Breaking Up, According to StraitsTimes Asia
F4 MAY Be Breaking Up, According to StraitsTimes Asia
Beautiful Dreamers
Boyband F4 is (almost) dead. Long live Meteor Garden. Three years after the Taiwanese idol drama phenomenon hit our shores, idol drama series are still going strong. What explains their continued success and what can local drama makers learn from their popularity?
By Ho Ai Li
F4 MAY be breaking up, but the passion for idol-drama serials which the Taiwan boyband helped to pioneer remains hot.
LACKLUSTRE: Local series Fantasy with Michelle Saram and Chen Hanwei failed to take off.
In 2001, their trailblazing Meteor Garden revitalised Taiwanese TV drama serials and made the quartet - Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu and Ken Zhu - household names from China to the Philippines.
Naysayers at first said Meteor Garden, which spawned a successful sequel in 2002, was merely a passing fad.
But three years later, idol dramas, which are targeted at viewers in their teens to the 20s, are still going strong.
Mr Paul Chan, SPH MediaWorks' senior vice-president (programming, branding and promotions), links their hit formula to 'beautiful faces, beautiful shooting locations, catchy soundtracks and fairy-tale plots'.
'Youth at this stage in life are making dreams. Never mind if such 'dreams' are practical or not, they're part of growing up. Idol dramas are really about dreams,' he says.
The genre has gone on to spawn copycats in China like Beach (2003), starring top Chinese actors Li Yapeng and Zhou Xun.
It has also spun off Taiwanese-Korean collaborations like Scent Of Love (2003), and Taiwanese-Singapore efforts like Westside Story (2003), now airing on Channel U.
Whereas the early efforts were a sugary confection of youthful dreams and fantasies, the latest hit idol drama in Taiwan mixes in social realism, exploring teen gangs with young and swoonsome leads.
Called The Outsiders or Tou-yu, the series, which is sold as VCD sets here, stars newcomer Guo Pin-chao and Lu Ming-chun.

When Critics Meet King of Pop Asia
When Critics Meet King of Pop Asia Posted: March 24, 2004
The first single from Vanness's Wu's solo album Xun Zhao Zhu Li Ye is a tensile come-on sung old falsetto. At first, it sounds like his first stop will not be Dairy Queen. But is he thinking what we're thinking? When the chorus claims "Never Gonna Stop Never Ever Stop Ain't Gonna Give You Up," if you've seen Wu dancing in the video, you'll guess one of the latter two. At the end of the song, Jian Hao is telling us to dance and the girl is gone. The pace of the elements are perfect, creating an erotic daisy chain that pulls us toward each new sound. When the next thing arrives, you want it, bad. "Never Gonna Stop" doesn't pull off so much as the feeling of dancing to a more danceable song in front of the mirror. A critically and commercially consensus—was "Yin Wei Tai Ai Ni," a complete 180 from "Xiang Xiang Shi Ge Ni"'s jackrabbit lust. "Yin" is like puppy love, a CinemaScope ballad full of generous detail and disjunctive leaps and Wu's second consecutive hit. The song got an obvious boost from gossip columnists seeing it as it only pays to say he got a marvelous acting in a video like this, but less obvious was the response from music critic Ross: "In the past year, critics found themselves in the faintly embarrassing position of having to hail Wu's BWS as one of the better records of the year." The embarrassment must be Ross', as the critics didn't exhibit much. The daily newspaper reviews were uniformly positive. But Other Chinese has a track record of approaching pop music with one hand holding its nose, so calling Vanness an embarrassment is simply par for the course. In fact, there is a historical trend for critics to discount hugely popular artists who sell to kids, especially girls. Sometimes, critics, borrowing a little fantasy back from the kids, like to pretend that these artists don't really exist, but truth to it, they do, Vanness does.

Zaizai Luan Che with trainer & Bi Shuai
Zaizai Luan Che with trainer & Bi Shuai Zhan Shen Outdoor scenes, 7 days 700 million
Zhan Shen , went to Sugo, Japan to flim outdoor scene, just Zaizai's racing uniform and helmet, it already cost about 50 million . Summing up the expenses for the 7 days, they spent around 700 million. Cai Zhi Ping said , " In order to give the quality feel, just have to tender the pain and spend the money."
Edited from a japanese manga, Mars, with lots of heavy racing as its important point. In order to give the original feeling, they specially went to Japan to flim. For Zaizai to really look like the professional role in the comic, they specially made outfits for him by a Japanese designer. Zaizai likes his own appearence and the satisfication could be seen all on his face.
Besides, the crew also invited the top 3 car racer champions to be Zaizai's Ti Shen at the car racing place. Zaizai, who loves to race , even started being his trainer abilities, and hopes to have a friendly match with the other party.
Other than Luan Che with the other guy, Zaizai even compared who was more handsome. When meeting people, he would say, " Is he or me more handsome?" Causing Da S & Cai Zhi Ping to br dumbstruck. They could only comfort Zaizai and said, " He's more handsome, but you are better-looking." not offending both sides.

The idol drama "Mars," adapted from a Japanese manga, especially made a trip to Xian Tai, Japan to film scenes. In order to make the role, Ling, that Zai Zai Vic Zhou will be portraying to correspond the original professional racer role in the manga. Zai Zai, "I'm aware that the role is a professional racer. This is also my first time to try to act as a professional racer in a drama. The challenge is tremendous for me. We also called on the famous Ah Bu Dian Shi, hoping that he can portray this racing role well." Da S, "This is my first time at an official race track and I think it's very fresh. I hope that will go smoothly." At the same time, the manufacturing unit invited the GP champion of Japan, Ah Bu Dian Shi to be Zai Zai's coach. They also compared their handsomeness on the spot. Ai Sha: "Are you ready?" Zai Zai: "Yes." Ai Sha: "Are you nervous?" Zai Zai: "No." Ai Sha: "Jia you." However, it's evident that this equipped Zai Zai, technology-wise still needs some work. Ai Sha: "Are you really ready? Ok, Ok, start! So handsome." Later… Zai Zai: "Just a moment ago I skid, the first time." Ai Sha: "Really?" Zai Zai: "Yeah, I skid the first time. Did you see it?" Ai Sha: "Then did he pass? Is this ok?" Ah Bu Dian Shi: "OK."
